Just a bit of fun...

Has anyone any experience with buying a DIY Tenor Uke kit?

I am disabled and have limited workshop space. I have a workbench, pillar drill, dremel, a few clamps and a little electronics experience (should I want to add a pickup etc.). No bandsaws or anything. The kit would need the body, neck etc pre-made, so I guess what I'm saying is I would like a fairly simple assembly. I am patient! (have to be as I'm almost housebound with spinal cancer), but would like something as a little project to consider. Any ideas welcome, I know from previous posts that I can rely on everyone here for ideas! I'm in the UK.

Thanks all!

The least amount of hassle and tools required for any uke kit that I've seen is the Wolfele.

Comes in soprano, concert, tenor, baritone and 'trilele' as well as a 6-string guitar option.

The web site is: http://www.wolfelele.com/

You can see lots of info and sound demos info in this previous thread here.
