Hi from Toronto

Hi everyone - picked up an Eastman soprano ukulele last week and am enjoying fiddling around with it. Have been finding solid info on UU and am grateful for all that folks share that are enabling me to learn this instrument.

Hoping to go to some meetups in the city, which I find a little intimidating, but also intriguing.

Welcome to UU from a fellow Canadian. I picked up ukulele 3 years ago with no musical experience. I starting attending uke jams right away and it was fantastic, great people and learned a lot quickly. What part of the city are you in?? East end has the Scarborough Uke Jam every second Monday, best one in the city.
