Nepali themed ukulele

I have been commissioned to build a ukulele with a Nepali theme made from oak and mahogany. It'll have a Spanish heel construction.

The oak that will form the neck and Spanish heel.

Strips of mahogany and oak that will form the back.

The neck glued up and rough cut before carving, next to the back.

I like how it's coming together. The body shape and rosette are really going to set that uke apart. Very cool!

Shaping the braces. I used a simplified version of the Torres fan bracing used for classical guitars.

Soundboard, neck with slots for sides cut, sides and headstock veneer.
