Banjo ukes!

... and I've still got all six. I guess I've got some serious competition now, or have banjo ukes fallen out of favor? :)

Hi Dave,
My last one took a while to sell, but the two previous sold quickly. Maybe it's the season.

yea, there are a lot of cheapies coming out of China for less than a ben. for the occasional banjolele player they ain't bad. no where near the quality of yours though.

What is the neck profile like on these banjo ukes? Weight?

Width is 1 3/8 at the nut, 1 3/4 at the heel, about 5/8 thick at the nut. Over-all weight is about 30 oz (some variation depending on the wood species).

Hey and there is only one bid on the one for sale on eBay - 2 hours to go...

Thanks. I probably won't decide that quickly, still debating between soprano and concert. I have only been able to locate one video, and it didn't really show off uke, more gocused on the person singing.

Are there any sound samples or videos? I swore I wouldn't buy any more ukes sight unseen. Or sound unheard, I guess.

I've had two of these Waverly Street ukes and they are nicely made/ nicely done. A good value for the money especially since they're made in the US.

Off thread a little, but Jenna Fischer (Pam from The Office) posted this comedy banjo video on Twitter and I realized there was another banjo ukulele thread that needed this in it. So I give you: the bandrum.

Off thread a little, but...

LOL - not sure what to make of that :).

Everybody wants tenors now, eh? I'll look into it.

All I've got left (before Christmas) is the two sopranos. They are really nice sopranos :)

:biglaugh::OMG, thanks for posting that, best laugh all day!

Thought this guy was just too cute playing one of these ukes

I'm still trying to figure out if there's a sound difference between soprano and concert since the pots are the same size. This is boiling down to a hand size thing for me. Good luck Dave!

Yeah man, where you been? :agree: ;-)

16" in-between would also be cool - you'd corner the market!
