Hello from West Philadelphia!

This kinda blows my mind, but apparently I joined this site five years ago, and am now posting for the first time.

My name is Evan (he/him) and I'm thirty-one. Born and raised by Newark, NJ. Made my home in Philadelphia, PA.

I've been playing ukulele since I was about 20. I've been playing guitar since I was 11. But I've been playing music with my family since I was born.

I've been a full-time performer for about ten years. I've been teaching since I was in high school, and I decided to do it more formally recently. A lot of people have been asking for ukulele lessons, so I decided to focus on them specifically.

Thusly, I've started the West Philly Uke Club and the Philadelphia Uke Studio.

On account of my being more outwardly uke-focused, I'm super psyched to be reading and posting here more often. What an awesome community/website!
