I have just joined the forum I am expecting to take delivery of a sidekick banjolele in the next few days, it's ordered and on it's way, I play a tenor ukulele for the last three years and since I was eighteen I play country guitar. I am now 80+. graamo
 
Sidekick has arrived, getting used to the tuners, may replace them in due course, but will give them a fair go, love the banjolele Graeme

I'd love a banjolele. Or maybe just a banjo. Or both.

Are you in Brisbane? I went to a few of the BUMs events when I lived there, good fun.

Hi Sabantien and Peace train and Top Dog, I am in Childers, The sidekick is coming along OK and I am getting used to the friction tuners ( I think) Overall I like it, Graeme.
 
I have just finished making a 10 inch banjolele, I like it, parts are all available on ebay and lots cheaper than ready made, I used Aquila red strings, and it all came up well. Graeme
