SOLD!! Our new CA house is quite small with little storage space, so I’m letting a fine uke go.

This is a custom soprano made for me in 2012 by Steve Van Pelt, a northern CA luthier. Musicguymic (a wonderful uke dealer who passed away in 2013) encountered him at the Reno Uke Show and raved in a video about his build quality. I wrote Steve immediately.
Steve made this one soprano and several tenors, but he stopped building suddenly. There wlll never be another uke like this.

It’s in excellent condition, except for one issue on the back. (I show it in a close-up photo.) Apparently a tiny hole opened in the finish and allowed air underneath at the heel. It’s been like this for a while and it’s not changing. It is not chipped. Of course it doesn’t affect the sound, but it keeps it from being pristine.

I love it because of its tone and beauty. I paid $500 for it, but with no comparables, I’m asking $275 shipped to the lower 48 states. Case included.
