Hello fellow strummers!

I've been playing the ukulele about 3 years and have been operating a ukulele site, http://myuke.ca, where you can find a lot of ukulele chord sheets and various other tidbits. I like using sound loops while playing my ukulele because it adds some extra flavor and allows me to keep a steady rhythm.

I only started learning to play when I retired, spent 18 months learning & collecting ukes of various types/styles - UAS - but I'm cured now - I think.

When I retired a wanted to learn how to play a guitar. After playing for a while I found that I was improving but still was not good enough to play a song. I decided I needed something easier so I switched to a harmonica. In the harmonica class I was given a suggestion to try a ukulele. A ukulele is cheap compared to a guitar so I enrolled in a beginners class and have been playing ever since. In the first ukulele class, it was nice to start playing a song. I now own 9 ukes!
