Hi all,
I recently bought a Laka VUC30 and although I love it, when I do an F chord the E string sounds quite dead. I have tried fretting just the 1st fret e string on its own and moving my finger up/down the fret but it still sounds oddly dead/twangy.
When I hold the fret down and look along the board, the string isn't touching any other frets and looks at a good level. Could anyone offer some help as to what it could be as none of the other strings do it?
It may be me getting used to playing a ukulele but I can't shake off the feeling of it being dead.
Thanks in advance,
Lloyd
