Hi all, I am new to the uke but have played guitar for near 50 years. I know jack squat about ukuleles but I know I love their sound especially with certain songs. I've bought two of what I'm pretty sure are concert ukes on Craigslist, and changed the strings. I am retiring soon and moving to a small coastal town and it just seems right to learn a new instrument at this stage in my life. I just couldn't think of a better instrument to learn. I'm hoping this UU forum site will be a good fit and look forward to gleaning all the experience and knowledge you good people wish to share.
