As I am on vacation in Hawaii I decided to take along a couple of instruments to trade - the ones I never reached for. I found this one and love it. I looked at several one of a kind instruments. This one really sang. It is a gold label, probably from the 60s. It has lovely binding and the koa has wonderful grain.
When I get home it will be set up with Aquila sugar strings and possibly some Pegheds (the ones that were used on Fluke instruments.
