I have a 50's gold label Kamaka soprano. Most of the original friction tuner buttons have splits, and one has failed. It is coming apart, and will not hold. I can try glueing it, but wanted to see if anyone may have a spare button that will work. The tuner posts have 2 flat sides, and 2 rounded sides. The posts measure 1.83 mm at the widest point, so I assume the holes in the headstock are only about 2mm. Also, what replacement tuners would fit, without opening up the very small holes? I have already emailed Kamaka, we'll see what they say.
Thanks

I do have one with a post but it measures 3.57 mm with 2 different devices. 1.8 seems almost wire thin. Could you also measure the button width?
Want to help, Dave
