Grain pop

No affiliation, saw this on Twitter. It must be fun for builders to see a wonderful grain pop like this when the finish is applied. It would be tough to let that uke go!

Yes it is one of the most pleasant sensations in wood working to see the grain come out. Not just ukes. The sensation doesn't last that long though because now it means you have to get work to make it keep looking like that and that isn't always easy or fun.
