Thinking Backwards

I'm no engineer nor super woodworker, but sometimes when I have to find absolute center on something I scratch my head. The video below made me laugh in its beautiful simplicity. Instead of putting the drill bit in the chuck, put the drill bit in the vice and the object in the chuck. Sometimes thinking about a problem backwards is the way to go. I think this might apply to lots of problems.

Banjo uke people just do it! That was a large banjo uke wasn't it?
