I found interest in the uke from cruising youtube and enjoying videos of people strumming and singing a lot of older tunes.
I'm also dangerous with a country fiddle but it does make it hard to sing along when playing. The uke looks like a blast.
So after doing some research, including here (thanks), I ordered an Ohana concert CK-35GS from mim. I have come to understand the importance of a good set-up from playing other stringed instruments.
Can't wait for it to come, and so in the meanwhile I thought I'd sign up here and start learning more.
It's like zero degrees F outside so maybe the uke will make it feel warmer here.
So I thought I'd say Hi! I promise I'll read before I post questions.
