Hi folks,
I searched 'chucking' via Google and Youtube. Some seem to call it chucking, while others call it chunking. Which one is correct?

I think it's one of those po-tay-to / po-tah-to things. Both are used to describe the same thing and both are probably correct.

When I saw it written in two books, both called it chunking, although one spelled it chnking. ;)

Both get used on this forum, & as long as we understand what is being talked about, no problem. :)

It is just talking about cutting off the notes so that they don't ring on.

If you are chucking make sure it is on the down stroke.
Up chucking can be very unpleasant.

Pretty sure when I started playing there wasn't "chunking" or "chucking." I recall it being a "chop" strum. All this new-school lingo has me confused....
