Recently ordered a Cordoba 15tm tenor Ukulele after spend an inordinate amount of time going down the youtube rabbit hole of ukulele tutorials. I am currently failing pretty bad at guitar but I am hoping that I will be able to make music on the ukulele alot quicker than my misadventures on the electric guitar. I am pretty good with chord changes on the bottom 3 strings of the guitar but it all goes south with all six strings involved.

I think you're going to be very happy playing an ukulele.
You will be playing music much sooner and more easily than a guitar, and there is absolutely no upper limit on you if you become very skilled.

Yes, the uke is much better than guitar, smaller, lighter, & has 2 less strings - after all, we only have 4 fingers.
