I was doing some shopping last night in Tesco's and I spotted this new product in the Fruit and Veg dep't ..and it interested me ...Not the oranges but the packaging.. So I bought it .. It's made from 3mm ready printed CNC laser cut fiber board in a very accurate and intricate and strong design..and I can't yet figure out how it was assembled:confused:..The main point of this is the question "How the heck can they market this product at only £3.00 = $4.18 including the fruit" ???

Massive factory... Massive order.... Small profit margin. The magic of economies of scale. Move on... It will only depress you

C'mon Ken.
A man of your ability should be able to work that out!
Long sides located on tabs either side of base.
Ends go on at an angle and pushed down into tab holes in base and behind restraining tabs on vertical ends of sides. Restraining tabs 'cam' the sides into place and lock on the flat face.
At lease that's how I understand it, but could be wrong!
Very clever design.
h

I can see Ken eyeing these boxes up, can I make a uke out of this material?
