I was looking at their website http://pilikoko.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=1

and noticed that all the ukes there have the original KPK-shaped headstocks. Then, looking at eBay, I see some KPK ukes with a crown style headstock, like this below. Are the crown headstocks new to their product line, or maybe this one below is just a special order for the Japanese market, or something? Also, the ebay ad title mentions veneer, but specs further down in the ad say this one is all mahogany, although the color is very koa-like to my eye.

A truly hilarious discription.
Engritch at its best.

Yeah, unfortunately I don't think the original website is current. Aiersi, supposedly the builder of the originals is now using the name.

PS, $744 for a laminate mahogany?!?!?!

The newer KPK ukes are made by Aiersi guitars as stated above, and they have the crown headstock. I own one. I like it. However, I paid around US$235 for it (solid acacia tenor). The price on that listing is insane! However, it does look like mahogany to me (with an acacia veneer headstock).
