My second and last this week. I had hoped to record this song about "Strolling along the Prom" on the Prom itself, but the wind was so strong that it made any recording difficult, if not impossible. So, I recorded it in the quiet of the old cart track to the north, where I recorded my earlier contribution. During later choruses, I do include images of the prom, but the soundtrack was so noisy that it made it difficult to hear the song, so I muted it.
The song was written for FAWM 2018, back in February, but I hadn't made a video for it. This one is very long by my standards, but it is only 3·5 minutes of song. The rest is sights and sounds of the prom described and the beaches of my new hometown Vilanova i la Geltrú. The latter couple of minutes reproduces my walk home from the beach, including some very unusual graffiti in English in the underpass just before you get to our flat.
I just thought some of you might like to see the "outside" of the town where I moved to in Sept 2016 - which still feels new to me after 30 years in my old hometown of Capellades, up in the Catalan hills.
Great week, Brian! Oh and I swear I had no hand in the graffiti! It puzzles me who would have made that statement in English here. A disgruntled Kiwi, perhaps?
