New banjolele a string help

If I do any picking on the a string it pops out of the bridge.
Advice please? Or should I return it?

My initial advice is that the slot for the A string needs to be cut deeper. This is easy if you have nut slot files but a bit harder if you don't. If you bought it from a local shop take it to the shop for adjustment. If you bought it on line then send them a message about the problem.

Its an adjustment issue rather than a fundamental problem.
