traditional fiddle tune
on a soprano ukulele
recorded at Waterworks Nature Reserve, Hobart

That's lovely playing and I love the that old timey tune.

Just wonderful all around Jon.

You continue to inspire, even more with each song you share.

Thanks for bringing this one here. :)

thank you for commenting y'all.

you are kind to me and i'm grateful.

Booli, you inspire me man. I think more than you'll ever know. Love you brus.

Jon, that's amazing! One of Doc Watson's faves to play, too. Really sweet.

it's tuned the same way as Aaron, and I learnt to play it a few days back from his quietamerican website.
my technique is a self styled way - i never learnt to play music so everything i do is kinda instinct.
a few folks have asked me this before and i describe it as "Tasmanian One-Finger Redneck Style" ;) ;
something approaching clawhammer but never gonna get there. i've found over the years i can
adapt it to most old time tunes. thanks for your comments everyone and for listening.
and yes, Rick. i take a lot of cues from Doc. especially the one finger thang.

Mahalo brother, back at ya. Your music is the one true gift for all, with the power to change the world.

It'd be a dark place without your songs to vibrate the air.

So glad you are among us and able to share.

Good one JD . Have you shrunk or is that a "big" soprano ? It sounds superb.......Cheers Mate.
