Very thankful review!! This appears to be a wonderful instrument, no doubt. Seems to be exceptionally priced well. I'm quite fond of the mini dreadnought body shape :)

Was an absolute joy to review this one

I have a KM Tenor - all mahogany, and I adore it. Wonderful tone and resonance.

I really liked your review, Baz. What a wonderful shape/tone. Congrats to KM ukuleles.

Thanks Baz for another great review!

I like the dreadnought shape too.

It's different enough and reminds me of a Martin D28 or similar, but like a tiny brother.

Only other ukes I recall seeing in this shape are some by Kamoa, as well as the Kamaka HB-2D 'Ohta San' model.

Yes, thanks Baz for bringing this one to our attention! I agree with Booli that I thought "Ohta San," too, and how that one was designed specifically for finger style.

Now I want a mahogany KM in concert size!

Thanks all and I'm glad this got some interest. Kevin is a super nice guy and this is genuinely one of the nicest sounding ukuleles I ever reviewed.

Kevin will correct me I am sure but I think this is made from a form I gave him - I made these for the Japanese market back in the day when I didn't know any better.

Im afraid I do have to correct you on this one Pete.

This is not from a design obtained from you.

I suspect you may be thinking of a different model (and form).

I have a KM-UKULELES korina dreadnought soprano and can honestly say that hhe quality of the build is amazing, better than some Luthier built ukes I've played that cost 4 times as much. The tone and sustain are sublime,it really is a stunning instrument.
