Crude version of 'Bear Dance' from Tony Mizen's book FROM LUTE TO UKE. (Slightly modified) The uke is a solid mahogany 'Hora' tenor, made in Romania.

Haha...yeah, I bet you could! I really enjoy this music, even if I find it very hard to play, so far. From way back, I have classical training as a pianist, but now I am mainly a jazz/folk/blues pianist, and that's also the kind of music I've played on the uke. This really expands my mind, so to speak. Reading tabs and sheets for the uke takes some effort, really, but maybe I'll get used to it if I work some... I struggle with fingerings, and even though I try not to cheat, some notes may very well be missing in my playing..Thanks for nice comments, Val. You know this stuff, so I'll have to believe you...
