Despite having a shed load of machinery I have never abandoned the basic tools that should be a part of every maker's toolbox. Here is how I go about sharpening a scraper...

Thanks for this Pete. I have struggled for years to get a really sharp scraper so followed your method and got lovely wispy shavings instead of the usual crumbly dust! Thanks again for sharing.
