My classmate has a Collings UT-2 Tenor for sale. What would be a fair offer?

I am a big Collings fan (have a UC3MSB and a UT3MSB). I'd search Reverb, eBay and this market for comparable. But I'd say somewhere in the $1,500 to $1,750 range assuming it's in excellent condition.
