For sale: John S. Kinnard Soprano

Series 2 Claro Walnut back and sides with Cedar top.
Strap pin installed on end block by local guitar store.
Purchased in 2016 from UU Marketplace.

Neck: Walnut
Binding: Upgraded to Series 3 hardwood binding/mitered purfling in curly koa
Faceplate: Walnut
Fingerboard: Rosewood
Bridge: Rosewood
Tuners: Gotoh UPT
3 ring rosette
Hard case included.

Excellent condition.
Smoke free environment.
I was told that it was a 2015 build.

Selling because this size isn't working for me. It's a beautiful ukulele,
but it's not getting played much now and deserves a home that will play it more.

Current base price for Kinnard Series 2 Soprano is $2650. The upgraded
binding would add to $200 to the base cost.

Asking $1700 shipped to CONUS, (UPS Ground, most likely), PayPal fees
included.

Will include 2 unopened sets of Living Water Strings for soprano, (both
re-entrant.)

As noted in the original thread, the original owner (@dirtiestkidever) and I had ukes from the same wood built at the same time. They differed only in appointments. I don't really play soprano very much so reluctantly sold mine, but it is a fabulous looking and sounding instrument.

i remember lusting after this one the first time around.
i heard DKE play it and it is incredible sounding.
only wish i could afford it.
