Rambling Ukulele Thoughts for Retirement

I retired in 2004. That didn't work, so I started working again in 2006. Now, I just retired on January 7, 2018.... And started my new job on January 8, 2018 - the first M-F job I've had since 1979. With Sick Leave, built in time off, and no nights or weekends.

I get to go to the Uke Groups again, make it to family gatherings, actually spend time with my wife and friends, and don't get up at 3 am.

It really is like Retirement for me!

So naturally, I got another ukulele to celebrate, but recent elbow surgery, and upcoming rotator cuff surgery have curtailed that somewhat...

But I'm using the ukulele as part of my Physical Therapy!

Me too! I played the flute as a kid and recorder (a serious $2000 recorder at today's price not a kid's toy plastic recorder) in my thirties and now I'm taking a stab at the Ukulele. I'd also like to try the Melodica too (if my wife will ever let me buy one. )
