Hello from Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
After a 40 years of playing the Highland bagpipes (an accident put and end to that), I ventured into strings: namely, violin and cello because I love Baroque music. Just recently I began this new uke adventure, merely for the fun factor.
Bagpipes, violin, and cello practice always meant hard work for me. I'm quite dedicated to the cello now, but it's still not something easily attained.
The ukulele is much easier for me, and thus, lots more fun.
I found a Lanikai on the cheap from Craig's List, and not long after that decided this newest enterprise required a higher quality instrument. I'm very much looking forward to receiving my Kanile'a K1 tenor in a week or so.
