First time builder looking for recommendations on suppliers.

Particularly at this point: tuners. Considering Peghed more specifically. I'd like to have them with koa keys if possible.

Thanks, all! :)

Pegheds are good tuners but are tricky to install well. They may not be the best choice for a first build unless you're ready to invest in the correct tapered reamer:

Hardware store reamers don't have the right taper ratio. Gotoh UPT tuners go in a straight 3/8"hole:

Hana Lima 'Ia is a great place to get tuners as well many other parts and materials that you might find useful:

For Pegheds go directly to the maker. chuck@pegheds.com They're tricky to install, especially on a first time build. The reamer you want is available from Amazon and ia a 1:30 taper for a violin/Viola peg. I really messed up my first installation and can sent you the nearly destroyed ones that I then had to remove with pliers. PM me for these and you can practice!

Gotoh UPT are my favorites. Then again I am a banjo player and so am very used to planetary tuners. I buy mine here. https://www.theukulelesite.com/acce...gotoh-upt-tuners/gotoh-upt-tuner-upgrade.html

Koa buttons is not something that I have seen for sale. Amber might be a close second.
