Thread: Hello from San Diego

    Default Hello from San Diego

I visited this forum often as a guest. I just signed up. Thank you for accepting me.
I used to play classical guitar. Ukulele is new but not too difficult for me. Recently retired and have all the time in the world to enjoy my playing once again.

Hello and congratulation on your retirement.
There is a huge ukulele community in San Diego, if your interested in meeting and playing with others.

Thank you for the warm welcome. Yes Fred Shields is in the La Mesa area . He has been building music instruments since the 1950's. A fine craftsman and a gentleman.
I am not aware of the Hale music workshop. I will have a look at their website now. Thank you.
