I don't want to steal any business from Caramel (actually I am looking at the solid acacia baritone electric as a possible buy), but the very economical Donner solid top tenor, with electrics, strap and stuff is working out very well for me as a beater uke. I have some quite expensive (for me) ukes but this is pretty good. i really like the "comfort edge" feature. I have the tenor. The tenor is now $90 delivered. Mine is good, but it did need the tweaking.
