    Thanks for reviewing this one, baz! Really makes one wonder about the price difference between it and the KS-1. Nonetheless, the FS-1 sure appears to be a great bargain!!

    Love the look of these, thanks for the review Baz. 145 for something of that quality is a bit of a no brainer really.

    I have the identical Kiwaya version, the KS-1, and agree that the sound is somewhat one dimensional, but it's a pretty nice dimension to be in! That uke is my go-to, and one of my faves. The koa version KS-5 or FS-5 has a more woody, complex tone. Playability /action on both is just outstanding; they are the best sounding laminates I've played.
