SOLD Built by Peter Hurney of Cuban mahogany with cedar top with maple binding. Frets recently dressed at Brooklyn Lutherie. Friction tuners work and hold tune well. Nitrocellulose gloss finish is in remarkably pristine condition—except for a very faint crack in the finish on the left bout of the top which is very difficult to see. The ukulele has been very well taken care of with no issues. Great playability with good action (2.5mm @ 12th fret) and a very LOUD and punchy tone. 13.75 playing scale--12 frets to body. Ebony saddle and nut. Rosewood fretboard. Roomy 37mm width at nut. Neck is very comfortable with more of a substantial profile. Currently strung with Fremont Blacklines. Canvas covered hardcase included—it will be well packed and insured for shipping. It comes from a smoke-free, humidified environment. I am selling it since I play my Kamaka more often and I have another one coming as well.
