WTT: Looking for Kala KA-ATP-CTG-CE

Wow, that's a lot of letters in that uke's name! Anyway, I'm needing a tenor with onboard electronics for gig performances, and this cutaway cedar/lam acacia model seems to fit my needs. I have a sweet, all solid Pono AC concert to trade, like new.

That's a beautiful uke. I got one a few months ago. Mim has one for $279 - an excellent uke from an excellent dealer.

I don't suppose that Pono is cedar, is it? A friend is looking for a cedar Pono.

Ukecaster specified (a trade for) the model with the onboard electronics — that tenor (new) is $380, not $280: https://www.theukulelesite.com/kala-ka-atp-ctg-ce.html

Just in case you were replying to me (you did not quote my post, so I dunno)...

Sorry if I got the models mixed up, too many letters (in the model #) for my pre-coffee brain to handle. I was only trying to help.

My bad. :(

I think I was the offending party. My bad. :(

All good, thanks for the help guys! Yes, the one I seek is the cutaway tenor with onboard electronics, and I agree, their naming conventions are really a mouthful! ;)

If nobody here can trade, I can also offer the Pono for $299.00 shipped in a nice case. Both the Pono and the one I seek retail for about $375.00 when new.

I've had that Kala cedar/acacia koa/paduk cutaway with preamp for about 4 years, I paid $380 at McCabe's in Santa Monica (actually, I traded in three, so the price was $130) and consider it my go to gig uke, great projection and resonance, easy to play.

8 tenor cutaway ukes, 3 acoustic bass ukes, 8 solid body bass ukes, 8 mini electric bass guitars

I have one that I have been meaning to put up for sale, I just haven't had the time to gather the materials for shipping and take pictures and such. I'm in southern Connecticut, so it might even be possible for you to see it in person? I'm not interested in trades though-too many ukes around already. Which is why one just doesn't get played. :)

I love your signature line. I reminds me of this cartoon.
