As I say on the video blurb (if you don’t want to click through to YT) I decided to do a slowed-down laid back version and skiffle it up a bit. The Smurfulele is included because it was sent to me by a very kind UUer who shipped it all the way over to the UK out of kindness. MAHALO, sir :)

I also did some chunking on the rhythm uke part, which I thought was kind of appropriate as it was here on UU where Aldrine showed us how to do that.

This is a great contest – the entries are SO good. This one was such a good idea :)

i think you have to mention the contest in your video, your video is from april 1st.
 
ha ha ha, what better excuse, to play the song I am currently giving a go...... such awesome ukes. Would be great to own an eleuke.

I'll put something together within the next few days.
 
Hey everybody!
Having some funny ideas in our minds, a friend of mine and me decided to enter this contest and make a video. So here's the result. What we did is, we took a rock song (Dammit by Blink 182), changed it into a minor key and made it a kind of rock ballad. Enjoy!

I'm not as much as a video wizard as most people out there so I just recorded the cover song i did and then did a picture slideshow of all the poeple I love. This Contest was freaking awesome and It gave me something to do over the summer.
