Snow storm here in Minnesota, so I was playing late in the night. Do you play your uke more in bad weather to combat "cabin fever" or do you play the same amount? Just curious.

Here is my blog and what it looks like in Minnesota.

Also, I am in "love" with my new Kamaka 6 string I got at the only dealer in Minnesota, Willie's in St. Paul. It was more than a three hour car ride, thankfully I did before the recent storm.

I got a very inexpensive soprano a year ago and gave it away to a friend. The voice of the Kamaka is enchanting, oh my! A Lorelei with strings! http://www.loreleyresort.com/Legend_test.htm

Hello Janet. I am from Minnesota as well, not a native but a transplant from Wisconsin. Yes, I do use my ukuleles to combat the dreaded Cabin Fever. I turn the heat way up, put on some board shorts, a very loud Bermuda shirt and tune the TV to something tropical while I practice not only my uke but my denial skills as well...
