I have a new concert sized lanikai zebra wood ukulele with 19 frets. I'm not sure if having a slotted head changes anything but the ukulele has a slotted head. The ukulele came with aquila strings but I want to change the strings because I don't think Aquilas go well with zebra wood. I've also heard that worth strings sound more mellow and think that would be my best choice for this ukulele. The problem is that I don't know which set of worths i should buy. Should I buy Worth BM soprano/concert? or would Worth BL soprano/concert be more suited for my ukulele? Or maybe tenor sized worth strings because of the increased fret board? Thanks for your help.

I have used their clear mediums on my soprano dolphin and they work and sound great. I have also used some bl's on a vintage martin and they were good too. a lot comes down to persomal preference, but I would think either bm or cm would be fine . the number of frets is not as important as scale length, and Im assuming yours does not have a tenor neck on a concert [a super duper concert, which I would love especially a K]
Here's their specs: http://www.worthc.to/W-Strings-e.html
southcoast has a good string explination [ and great strings ] I'm about to put some mediums on my tenor that is currently strung with the orig aquilas. will let you know what I think.

thanks for the info! i've decided to get bm worths. cant wait till they arrive!

I beleive the brown medium would be a better choice for more richness, but sacafrice a little playability..
