Contest: Healing Powers of the Uke for Musicguymic

My humble submission:
  • My first ever uke video
  • My first ever time videoing something using my Blackberry (that'll tell you all you need to know about the video and sound quality :rolleyes: )

    I'm right with ya there, first uke video, and first youtube video, and first time recording with my camera. Also introducing my new uke!
    Better late than never I guess?
    Turns out I don't know how to work computers as well as I'd thought. It's uploading now, but youtube doesn't seem to like me much these days, I've tried a few different ways a couple times today, so I guess I'll try to post it in the morning.

Ok I worked on this all night last night and this morning and finally got youtube to upload the video. It's not great, but I wanted to put it out here anyway.

thank you so much for your videos and well-wishes- this is a tough one and I am afraid I am going to have to sleep over it.

Beyond good luck in the contest, I wish MGM a speedy recovery. I'm sure he will appreciate every last one of these videos because they were made with love, not just for a contest.

Wow, I'm very humbled and honored with the win. The prize will go to my lovely backup singers. The ukulele community is beautiful and this contest epitomizes that. What a wonderful thing for people to come together to create music for MGM. We wish you peace and health. My daughters will be thrilled to know they helped put a smile on your face.

Hey Christian, thank you for holding this contest. I've not been playing very long and never really even thought of making or posting any videos of myself, but this contest made me figure out all the technology and got me over my own nervousness to submit something for MGM. I really appreciate all the support for everyone involved, and I'm really excited to be a part of such a wonderful and caring community. I'd like to congratulate everyone who posted videos, each of these videos are really inspirational, and I truly wish MGM a speedy recovery.
