metal shirts...

So I work in a store that sells band merch, and we got in a huge shipment of metal shirts recently. I haven't paid too much attention to them as of late, but...

what is up with metal shirts now!?
For example:

that seems a little much. is it necessary to have people hacking things apart on a t-shirt?

what do you guys think, is the level of gore on these shirts REALLY necessary? do you think people judge those who wear them?

I wouldn't wear it. I do think the graphic is sort of cool, though. Morbid... very morbid, but cool. I'm sure people would judge sombody that was wearing it. Maybe that's the point. Maybe the people that would judge someone based on their clothes aren't the people the wearer would want to make friends with.
