Hi all! I have a spare copy of a terrific book, May Singhi Breen's Collection of Ukulele Solos. I'd like to give it to you.
Breen's arrangements are a great way to learn to play chord melodies, or to get more ideas for chord melody arrangements if you have experience.
Collection of Ukulele Solos contains twenty arrangements, written for ukulele tuned ADF#B. Chord diagrams can be used in any tuning, of course. Melodies are given in musical notation. Here's an example:
This book is rather beaten up, but the important stuff---the music---is there for you to enjoy.
The contest rules are simple: reply to this thread and you are entered. I'll select the winner randomly at 10 pm PST July 3, 2011.
