Gotta admit, I was a bit apprehensive, after reading of so many people have problems, but it was a piece of cake. And even better, I now have a beautiful new set of Purple Aurora Silkguts, on my Bamboo Paulele, and they look and sound great. Can't wait for them to settle in, so I can really see how they sound.

Congratulations!! The 1st time you do get nervous! Glad it went well!!!

When I got my classical guitar, it had it's original strings (from 1972) and at first, I was a little nervous about stringing it up. looked at frets.com to see how to do it, and it was very easy. I love the look of tied on strings too. If you do it right, it's a thing of beauty.

Everyone needs to learn to string change at some point. Sooner the better in my view so glad your experience went well!

How you like that Paulele uke?

How you like that Paulele uke?

I actually like it very much. It has a great feel and sound, especially since I added the Auroras. It was my second Uke, a huge upgrade from my Kanaloa Pineapple, a little shallower sound than the KoAloha. Still play it every day.

I'm very tempted by one. Love the concept and sustainable wood choice.

You are not the only one I've heard say good things about it.

Enjoy!
