Hey everyone. I want to give the D'Addario J71 strings a try, but I'm a little hesitant to try them on my uke (Kala KA-ASAC-T). Will the extra tension have any effect on the neck or body? I don't want the neck to bend or body to bow. Thanks!

Send me your uke and strings and I will check it out fo you.

Well, nothing is wrong with it yet. I'm just trying to make sure that something doesn't go wrong :)

The J71s are for a tenor uke. I love them - they are great strings.

Alright, great. I was just worried because I read that someone's neck became bowed, but it turns out he has a lower end uke. I'll give these a try.

Are these the strings that are on the Kamaka HF-3? Thanks in advance for the insight!!

No, they're not the stock strings Kamaka uses. The strings they use are made by D'Addario, not sure which ones they are.
