Hey everyone! I'm new here at UU and I need advice on a first uke. I was thinking about the Kala KA-T or the Lanikai LU-21T. If you've played them both, what do you recommend? Any other good ukes for around $120 US? Tenor size ^_^ and If it means anything, I'm transitioning from 9 years of guitar playing.

You can't go wrong with either. I'd recommend that you get the Kala KA-T from HawaiiMusicSupply because they "setup" your instrument so it plays much easier for you!

I'm hard pressed to have an opinion because these are so comparable. They are similar models made for the same market by very reputable companies. They may sound different from each other, but niether is the better. I think if you like one, you'll probably like the other.
