Has anyone evr played or heard an instrument made by a Mr Eric Beharrell? Considering buying a soprano by him...

I've only read the description of one offered for sale by a uke player whose judgment I trust. That one was said to be rather agricultural in finish, and pretty quiet. Looked pretty in the picture.

Mr Beharrell seems to make a wide range of instruments, not all stringed, so his ukes might be quite variable as he doesn't specialise. I'd say play before you buy - could be a lulu, could be a lemon.

Ok, thanks for the heads-up. Appreciated.
