Flirting with the idea of a Banjolele

Freeda said, "The regular uke was too subtle for this bunch but the banjolele got everyone singing! Sometimes you have to make some noise!" This would be my comment as well. And I would add, it is harder to record with because if it comes across much louder than voice. Microphone placement is key to getting a good mix. It is fun to play and my experience is that everyone thinks it's a banjo and loves it.

And yes, OldePhart - it works that way for me as well

Hmmmm...in my case that's probably an advantage...

I say go for a banjolele too. I picked up a Firefly last year and haven't regretted it yet!
