Did an early morning recording of this new song of mine on the weekend because I wanted to show off the White Swan in action. :)

Currently it's got low G steel strings which gives it quite a kick in jams, and allows me to sub it in for the tenor banjo I usually play for singing with in group. Yes, there are weird old holes in the headstock -- this began life as a 6-string, but I found that a bit much so I took the extra 2 tuners off. There are also 3 other unexplained tiny holes around the swan inlay. I think the whole bit will receive tiny pearl dots in the face soon, easily removable in case the extra pegs want to go back in.

that's a great tune, Jake - there's definitely a John Prine goes old-timey vibe to it - nice melody, nice words, and that banjo uke sounds just right..... thoroughly enjoyed it....
