Seasons of the Ukulele: Week 13

Haha, I am going to sit out Cliff Edwards week, and start with an easier challenge. :)

there are TONS of songs he did over his long career. Wee ginga beat me to the one I was going to do. but I may still do Side by Side anyway. hey, there's an idea for another week. Everybody does the same song, I'm sure you'd get a bunch of different styles. Try Side by Side, chords are pretty easy except the F#dim. great lyrics too.

Over on the dark side at Ukulele Cosmos they have a monthly invitational where they do just that.
Pick one song and then have different people do their interpretations of it... You really need to check out
an amazing and funny russian performance of "Windmills of your mind." It really speeds up at 1:39

That's one half of the ukulele duo " The Re-entrants" they played at our ukulele clubs xmas party. The ukulele cosmos, not a patch on this forum i belong to it, but never really go on there, you cant beat the people that frequent the underground, the cosmos seems a very clicky place ,

Now thats a performance, thats pretty cool, I am feeling the inspiration.
and Ukuleledaveey we are glad to have you over here on the UkuleleUnderground.
