Hey y'all,

I just thought I'd post that my band, The Diabolical Machines (in which I play electric tenor uke), has made our original demo track - a home-recorded rendition of our song "Up To You" - free for the holidays as a thank-you to everybody who has supported us during our formative months. It's on our Bandcamp site:

We're headed into the recording studio next month to record a full-up debut EP. It's going to feature our new, full lineup with our drummer and keyboard player. The demo above was created by the three of us who originally started the group, playing everything ourselves, but it gives a good idea of what we're about. It features my EleUke jazz tenor and our rhythm guitarist on a Luna High Tide baritone, in addition to the lead Les Paul guitar, synth, and drum/bass tracks. The music and lyrics are by me, and the melody is by our lead guitarist/vocalist Rachel.

We're an indie rock group from Fort Worth, TX, influenced by bands like The Long Winters and The New Pornographers. The uke features in all of our songs (it is, in fact, what I write all of my contributions on).
