My new video. I don't mean to pat myself on the back, but I think it's the funniest thing I've made all year.

fiscal cliff

I am wondering how the fiscal cliff really affects us. Any thoughts? Well, Congress and the White House are fighting it out in an effort to keep away from the fiscal cliff. Democrats are stingy about making cuts to entitlements, and Republicans will not take into account higher taxes. But are Americans really taxed too seriously? A survey of the rates of other countries cast doubt.

I'm a economics student from Brazil. A deficit on the government spending WILL cause inflation because of the increase in the demand on the economy. One thing must be done, cut spending or increase taxes. Here in Brazil we had in the 80s and 90s a very problematic inflation, so we accostumed to have high taxing, resulting on a primary superavit. In my opinion, americans should be taxed more, specially those with higher income.
